In Loving Memory of Noah – A Fundraiser for Hummingbird House
This event is held in honour of our beautiful son, Noah, who was born with a rare and life-limiting genetic condition called Zellweger Syndrome. We were blessed with 14 unforgettable months with him before he passed away in January this year.
Noah’s diagnosis came after his birth, and with it came a world of unknowns — a world that felt incredibly isolating. Families like ours, facing rare genetic conditions, often struggle to find answers, support, and understanding. That’s why, as well as raising funds, we’re also passionate about raising awareness — so that no family feels alone in their journey.
In the midst of our uncertainty, we found a place of light, compassion, and hope: Hummingbird House.
Hummingbird House is Queensland’s only children’s hospice, providing respite and end-of-life care for children and their families. They walked alongside us through every step of Noah’s journey — not only during his life, but in his passing and the tender moments after. Their care helped us create memories, find peace, and feel less alone in a time when we needed it most.
Now, in Noah’s memory, we are raising funds to give back to the place that gave us so much. Every dollar raised will go directly to Hummingbird House to support other families facing unimaginable challenges with love, dignity, and care.
