Help raise $50,000 so families have a home away from home to say their final goodbyes.
Talking about final wishes brings up uncomfortable emotions, but the team at Hopewell Hospice makes it easier, supporting families with care and compassion. Guests often stay for days, weeks or even months, making Hopewell a home in their final days.
“We’re an end-of-life facility, but more than that — we offer every guest the gift of home.”
- Bek, Clinical Care Coordinator.

Hopewell Hospice is a charitable adult palliative care facility servicing the Gold Coast and surrounding regions. We rely on the generosity of the government and the community to ensure every family that needs us can access our services at no cost to them.
Your donation will help us continue this vital work.

Hopewell Hospice provides care in our facilities for a day, for short break stays, or in the comfort of their home. Our nurses aim to create memories to last a lifetime, while providing physical and mental support for patients and their families. We welcome and respect all religious and spiritual beliefs, any faith or no faith at all.

Hear from clients and nurses
"It's a gift to hold the hands of the dying and support them and their family as they take their last breath. Life is made up of moments and memories. The moments we share at Hopewell Hospice will one day become memories — and what we provide to our guests is both the moment and the memory that family and friends carry with them long after their loved one is gone."
- Bek, Clinical Care Coordinator
"Hospice care is our last opportunity to provide everything for them. That might be getting sand from the beach for them to feel the sand between their toes. It might be something little about having their football game on TV, sitting and watching it with them. Some people miss the salty air, so in the past, we have gotten saltwater in a little bottle for whenever they felt that craving. Whatever we need to do to make them feel at home."
- Elle Flynn, Clinical Service Coordinator
"My dearly loved Dad spent the last two months of his life at Hopewell. To say the staff are amazing is an understatment, everyone looked after him as if he was their own father."
- Nicci, Daughther of a Hopewell Hospice patient
"I get to work with medical students. We educate them on what palliative care means, what end of life care is, and what death and dying is about, because they don't have much in their degree. By exploring that in their first year, they are much more comfortable talking about it with their clients and with their patients down the track."
- Elle Flynn, Clinical Service Coordinator
