At FWO Chartered Accountants, we believe in the power of community.
We're proud to support the Brisbane Relief Hub, a Wesley Mission Queensland initiative that provides food hampers, fresh produce, toiletries and essential care to individuals and families doing it tough across Brisbane.
The FWO team is actively involved in supporting the Brisbane Relief Hub. Our team members volunteer on-site throughout the year, working alongside the Wesley Mission team to provide hands-on assistance whenever possible. We’re now looking to extend our impact even further.
Our goal is to raise $2,000 per week, enabling the Brisbane Relief Hub to expand its reach and impact. This funding helps create more hampers, stock the market stall with fresh produce, and offer dignity and support to those in need.

We have raised $427 as of 1st December. Our goal is to raise a recurring $2000 a week for the Brisbane Relief Hub to ensure sufficient weekly stock for providing emergency relief to those in need.
Last week, two of our team members spent the morning sorting through Red Bag Appeal donations at the Brisbane Relief Hub. The Red Bag Appeal is run every Christmas and aims to distribute more than 3000 Red Bags filled with groceries, toys and Christmas treats to those in need. This is just a small step in supporting over 3.7 million households in Queensland facing food insecurity this Christmas.
This week, more team members will be helping the Relief Hub distribute Red Bags to the community. On the 12th and 19th of December, our team will be at Westfield Chermside participating in the Christmas Wrapping. Watch this space for more updates!
