Hewlett Legal Golf Day 5 September 2024

Over 70 of our clients, referrers and some new faces came together for our 2024 annual charity golf day. The highlight of the day? The raffle for a 10-person Brisbane Broncos corporate box, which, along with other great prizes and sponsorship, helped raise $14,500.

Hewlett Legal Golf Day 2023

In 2023, we took to the Wolston Park Golf Course once again for our charity golf day, and what a day it was! With 20 teams and 80 players participating, we raised a grand total of $14,000 for Hummingbird House, topping all our previous efforts.

Hewlett Legal Golf Day 2022
Wednesday 6th Sep
In 2022, we gathered at the stunning Wolston Park Golf Course for another unforgettable charity golf day. Despite the overcast skies, we raised a spectacular $7,500! The event saw 52 golfers across 13 teams of four, competing in a 9-hole Ambrose style tournament. It wasn't just about clinching the top prize—there was also the thrilling ‘Have a crack for a Kraken’ Nearest to the Pin challenge, sponsored by Preston & Co.
The competition kicked off with a 9-hole shotgun start at 2:30 PM, quickly sorting the teams into the seriously focused and the cheerfully distracted. The day ended as dramatically as a golf enthusiast could hope, with a "putt off" to break a tie and crown our champions. What a finish! For more on this fantastic day, check out our full story here.

Hewlett Legal Golf Day 2017

Back in 2013, we met the wonderful founders Gabby and Paul Quilliam during their search for a Brisbane hospice location. Through this introduction and our initial pro bono work, Lucas, Anna and the Hewlett Legal team have been passionate supporters of their charity ever since.
Inspired by our shared commitment, we kicked off our first charity golf event in 2017 at McLeod Golf Course, raising $3500. It was a fantastic success—not only a great way to network but also a relaxed and joyful means to support an amazing cause. That event set us on the path we continue today, keeping the tradition alive and making a difference one swing at a time!
