Ridgettes Netball Club

By Mackenna Hall

Thank you for visiting Ridgettes Netball Club's fundraising page!

We are raising funds for Hummingbird House and your support means a lot to our current and previous members.

7 years ago we lost a Ridgettes player Piper Uzelac after her battle with Leukemia. You would see Piper around the netball courts with a huge smile on her face, she loved the game of netball! Piper fought hard and modelled the value of bravery hence why we live on with her motto "There's brave, then there's Piper Brave." With the Uzelac's blessing we have continued to celebrate and honour Piper's life and love for netball.

Additionally, we raise money for Hummingbird House as this is where Piper spent her last days with her family. We aim to raise as much money and awareness for this charity as it is the only children's hospice in Queensland.

By donating, you are helping to provide specialised paediatric palliative care services to babies, children and young people with a life-limiting condition. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to achieving this goal.

Find your yellow, find your brave and let's give this our all for Piper!
